How do counseling clients grow?
My clinical perspective is that we all have a whole and healed Self, no matter what we’ve experienced in our lives. Even the greatest trauma cannot damage the innate health that all of us have. Counseling helps clear away any obstacles to accessing that incredibly healing resource within ourselves with the ongoing goal to give clients the skills to maintain and expand upon their own mental health after they leave counseling. What follow is an ever-growing list of what clients achieve with counseling work. This list will always be as individual as each client’s life story.
